Hydration

Hydration

Hydration is important! Drinking water helps keep your body functioning properly. Your body loses water when you use the bathroom, sweat, exercise, or even breath. If you lose too much water, your body will not function as well. This is called dehydration.

Signs of dehydration:

  • You feel thirsty
  • You are tired or sluggish
  • You have a headache
  • Your mouth is dry
  • Your urine is dark yellow or brown

Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to prevent dehydration! It's especially important to drink water before, during, and after working out.
